Australian midfielder Tyrese Francois, the inaugural winner of the Johnny Haynes’ Fulham Supporters’ Trust academy player of the year, made his Fulham debut in the League Cup defeat by Southampton in August 2019 and was handed a first Premier League appearance on the final day of the 2020/21 campaign by Scott Parker. Francois started the following season as a first choice in Marco Silva’s midfield, impressing enough to earn a new contract at Craven Cottage. The Sydney-born midfielder is currently on loan with HNK Gorica in Croatia.
