Fulham target Clement Chantôme is trying to negotiate an early end to his Paris Saint-Germain contract, according to reports from France this weekend.

The 25 year-old midfielder, who has found first-team football hard to come by in Paris, does not feature in Laurent Blanc’s plans for the new season and is seeking a mutual termination of his current deal, which still has two years to run. If Chantôme was successful in securing his release, there were be a host of suitors for his services. Lyon, Stade Rennais and Wolfsburg would join Martin Jol in the race to sign the French international.
