Fulham are emerging as the favourites to sign Napoli midfielder Walter Gargano with competition from Atletico Madrid.
The Uruguayan international spent last season on loan at Inter, but the club decided not to take up its option to buy.
According to CalcioNews24 and TMW, Gargano’s agent Alessandro Lucci was in London today for negotiations with Fulham.
Other sources tip Atletico Madrid, but rumours are building that the Cottagers have the upper hand in this race.
