Fulham have confirmed Mark Schwarzer, Mahamadou Diarra, Chris Baird and nine others have all been let go by the club.

Australian shotstopper Schwarzer revealed earlier this week he expected to end his five-year spell at Craven Cottage after the Cottagers announced the signing of Maarten Stekelenburg.

The 40-year-old will now have to look for a new club along with Mali international Diarra after he managed just 19 appearances in 18 months with Fulham.

Baird is joined by another Fulham stalwart, Simon Davies, in being released, while striker Mladen Petric and experienced midfielder Giorgios Karagounis are also gone after their short-term deals came to an end.

Goalkeeper Csaba Somogyi also departs, while youngsters Alex Smith, James Musa, Richard Peniket and Corey Gameiro complete the list.
