Lauri Dalla Valle looks set to join Molde on loan after impressing during his trial with the Norwegian club.

Fulham’s Finnish youth international found the net for Ole Gunnar Solksjaer’s side during a pre-season friendly meeting with Brann on Friday. The former Liverpool striker has spent most of his Craven Cottage career on loan, with spells at Dundee United, Bournemouth, Exeter City and Crewe, and has made only two substitutes’ appearances right at the start of Martin Jol’s reign.

Jol is happy to send the 21 year-old out on loan to give him the first-team football he is unlikely to get at Fulham:

He wanted to play in Holland or Norway, so that’s why he’s at Molde on trial with view to a loan move. He’s a young player who is learning his trade. He did well at Crewe, which gave everyone confidence again.
