Late this evening Fulham Football Club confirmed the signing of Ghanian midfielder Emannuel Frimpong on loan from Arsenal until the end of the season. The 21 year old has previously enjoyed spells on loan at Wolves and Charlton, although he has yet to make a first team appearance for his parent club, for whom he came through the academy system, so far this season. Frimpong comes with a reputation of being a physical, tenacious, tough-tackling central midfielder with huge potential, and considering fans’ calling for an injection of energy should certainly fit in to the current Fulham side. It has been assumed there is no potential currently for a permanent deal should the loan be successful.
