Fulham winger Kerim Frei has had an operation in Germany in a bid to cure a niggling groin injury.
The Turkey international has endured a frustrating season so far at Craven Cottage after bursting onto the scene last year.
Frei had a disappointing loan spell at Championship promotion-chasers Cardiff City before returning to SW6 in November.
The talented teenager has made six appearances for the Whites, but hasn’t featured since the FA Cup draw against Blackpool earlier this month.
