Fulham have confirmed that industrial action will not prevent their Boxing Day fixture at home to Southampton from going ahead.
London Underground staff are to go on strike on December 26, a move that has caused the postponement of Arsenal v West Ham, but the Craven Cottage club have followed suit with QPR by pressing on.
“Fulham FC is pleased to confirm that its Boxing Day fixture against Southampton will be going ahead as scheduled,” the club wrote on their official website.
A statement on the official Southampton website added: “The Cottagers have been monitoring developments closely with Transport for London and will advise further travel details later this week for the 15.00GMT kick-off at Craven Cottage.”
The Tube walkout, prompted by a dispute over pay, is expected to cause travel chaos in London.
