Fulham winger Kerim Frei has joined Cardiff on a short-term loan deal.

The Turkish teenager, who made 25 appearances for the Whites during his breakthrough season last year, has moved to the Welsh capital as Cardiff are beset by injuries in wide positions. The 19 year-old will remain with the Bluebirds until December.

Cardiff manager Malky Mackay said: “Kerim is young, but he played 16 Premier League matches for Fulham last season and 25 in total. They think highly of him. He is an attack-minded player who is technically comfortable with the ball at his feet.”
