Fulham have not completed the signing of FC Twente striker Chris David – despite reports to the contrary from the Dutch club, on a busy day for the Premier League side.
The highly rated 19-year-old was thought to have undergone a medical with the Cottagers after Ajax had expressed an interest in the Holland youth international.
But the club’s communications director Sarah Brookes confirmed after the closing of the transfer window that they had not reached an agreement with the striker.
