Bryan Ruiz is set to miss the rest of the season after suffering a suspected broken metatarsal in today’s 3-0 win over Bolton at the Reebok Stadium.
The Costa Rican midfielder was forced off with the injury in the second half, being replaced by Dickson Etuhu, and manager Martin Jol revealed afterwards that Ruiz could be out of contention for the remainder of Fulham’s campaign.
It is worrying – he has probably broken his metatarsal. That is a problem.
