Dickson Etuhu has emphatically denied Nigerian press reports that he wants to leave Fulham – with the club insisting that the stories are entirely without foundation.
Quotes attributed to the Nigerian international last week suggested he was resigned to leaving Craven Cottage in the summer after falling out with Martin Jol, but Etuhu told Fulham’s official website:
“These reports are completely false and, contrary to what has been written, I continue to enjoy good working relationships with all the management and staff at Fulham. I’ve loved every minute of my time at Fulham since joining in 2008 and I sincerely hope to be part of further success under Martin Jol over the next few seasons. My immediate aim now is to regain my starting place in the first XI and help the team secure another top-10 finish.
