Fulham announced this afternoon that Swedish striker Muamer Tankovic has agreed professional terms with the club, signing a two-year contract.
Tankovic signed for Fulham last September from IFK Norrkoping after a successful trial and quickly established himself as a regular in the club’s under-18 side. The striker, who recently scored twice in Fulham’s FA Youth Cup win at Peterborough, had another reason to celebrate today – it’s his seventeenth birthday.
His SEVENTH birthday? I know the emphasis is on signing young players now but isn’t that child labour? 🙂
