Philippe Senderos has turned his attention to Friday night’s FA Cup trip to Everton as the Swiss centre back hopes to continue Fulham’s fine recent form.

Senderos, who won the Cup with Arsenal in 2005, knows that beating David Moyes’ side at Goodison Park is a difficult assignment.

It is a tough draw for us, they [Everton] are a decent side and they have players with a lot of quality. On their day Everton are a side that can match any team and they are one that knows all about the FA Cup.

Having spent a brief period with them two years ago, I know a bit about them. What I can say is that their stadium will be full and the atmosphere fantastic. It’s an evening kick-off and one both clubs have been looking forward to.

Fulham and Everton have ambitions of doing well in this competition, so it should make for an interesting game. We know that we haven’t had the best of luck in previous trips to Goodison, but hopefully we can change that on Friday.

We did well last weekend and have to build on that, and take the momentum into the next fixture. We all want to leave the ground on Friday night knowing that it is Fulham that are in the draw for the next round.

The FA Cup is an amazing competition and it’s one that players and fans love to be part of. I’ve been lucky enough to be part of a team that not only reached the Final, but won it too. That was a moment I will never forget.

It would be nice to do well with Fulham, and we want to be involved for as long as possible – I can see no reason why we can’t put a decent run together. We’re out of Europe now, so it’s a good chance for us to make up for that.
