Young Fulham goalkeeper Jesse Joronen has been called-up to the Finland national squad for their forthcoming friendlies against Trinidad and Tobago.

The 18 year-old, who has already been capped for the Finnish under-21 side, was a surprise inclusion in Mixu Paatelainen’s squad for the January friendlies against Trinidad and Tobago and the Trinidad and Tobago Olympic side. He is expected to be second choice to Lukas Hradecky, but may get a chance in the second game against the Olympic hopefuls.
