Fulham manager Martin Jol praised his side after they came from a goal down to beat Arsenal in the storming finale at Craven Cottage.

Jol felt Fulham’s 2-1 win was merited on the basis of their strong second half performance, which he described as ‘amazing’.

It was amazing…we played ever so well in the second half. Sometimes if you can’t score at the right times you end up with a draw but I think in the end the win was deserved.

The Fulham boss also dismissed Arsene Wenger’s complaints over Johan Djorou’s sending off.

To be fair, he could have maybe had a second booking earlier so maybe he (Wenger) didn’t want to see that. I don’t think there’s a problem – a second booking is a red card, that’s a normal thing.

“He could have had a point with the penalty but you can see he (Senderos) tried to get the ball so it would have been a soft penalty.
