Fulham manager Martin Jol praised his side after they came from a goal down to beat Arsenal in the storming finale at Craven Cottage.

Jol felt Fulham’s 2-1 win was merited on the basis of their strong second half performance, which he described as ‘amazing’.

It was amazing…we played ever so well in the second half.¬†Sometimes if you can’t score at the right times you end up with a draw but I think in the end the win was deserved.

The Fulham boss also dismissed Arsene Wenger’s complaints over Johan Djorou’s sending off.

To be fair, he could have maybe had a second booking earlier so maybe he (Wenger) didn’t want to see that.¬†I don’t think there’s a problem – a second booking is a red card, that’s a normal thing.

“He could have had a point with the penalty but you can see he (Senderos) tried to get the ball so it would have been a soft penalty.
