The Daily Mail names Fulham as one of three Premier League clubs interested in signing Zenit St. Petersburg midfielder Szabolcs Huszti.

The Hungarian, who is most comfortable on the left side of midfield, has spent just under three years with the Russian side since signing from Hannover as the replacement for Andrei Arshavin. The versatile 28 year-old can operate on either wing – and was successful in Germany as a second striker – and won 51 caps for his country before announcing his retirement from international football in September 2010. The Mail believe any transfer would most likely be a loan deal.

Huszti, who has previously interested Rangers, Celtic and West Brom, is apparently also a target for Blackburn Rovers and Wigan Athletic. The same article also confirms that Fulham are close to completing a loan deal for Catania forward Maxi Lopez.
