Maxi Lopez’s agent refused to be drawn on reports that Fulham have tabled a bid with Catania for the Argentine striker.

Catania’s sporting director Pietro Lo Monaco told Corriere Dello Sport yesterday that Fulham had made an offer for Maxi Lopez, which has subsequently been reported by the British press as being around the £10m mark. The former Barcelona striker’s agent, Andrea D’Amico, would only confirm that a number of clubs are interested in the 27 year-old, who is certain to leave Catania during the transfer window:

I don’t comment on Lo Monaco’s words, you have to ask him. For our part we are waiting for news, this is an evolving situation.

We are at a phase of work, because every day there are so many contacts and many voices. Maxi has been linked to AC Milan, Inter, Fiorentina, English and German clubs, but before speaking, I expect something concrete.
