Former Fulham defender Tony Gale was on talkSPORT this morning with Richard Keys and Andy Gray. He reminisced about his long career in football, touching on the humorous side of his time at Craven Cottage as well as at West Ham. The full interview – up on the radio station’s website – is well worth a listen.

For those who may only know Gale as a commentator or a pundit, he made 277 league appearances for Fulham between 1977 and 1984 before moving on to play for West Ham, Blackburn, Crystal Palace and, finally, Maidenhead. He won a single cap for the England under-21 side in 1982.
