Brede Hangeland believes Fulham can continue their recent improvement in December despite having to take on Liverpool, Manchester and Chelsea before the New Year.
The Norwegian centre back was encouraged by his side’s strong showing at Arsenal on Saturday evening and feels Fulham have the quality to spring a few more surprises next month. He insists that adopting the right strategy will be vital:
It’s a tough month coming up but this gives us lots of confidence to get a result like this that we can take points off any team. It’s about getting the balance right. Especially at home. You can’t go all gung-ho and leave too much space.
We are moving in the right direction. We had two games at home against Everton and Tottenham which we should have won. It’s very tight but we just need to keep working on our performances we will get the results we deserve.
