Fulham skipper Danny Murphy says Fulham won’t get over excited by their derby demolition of QPR at Craven Cottage this afternoon.

The Whites broke their Premier League duck in some style – thrashing hapless Rangers 6-0 – but Murphy told talkSPORT that his side will still keep their feet on the ground.

Today it all clicked but let’s not go overboard. It was a terrific performance but they had a bad day at the office and I’m sure they will admit that.

We played some terrific stuff and it is a good foundation to move forward but it is only three points and after seven games we feel like we should be a bit better than that. It’s pleasing but you’ve got to be careful not to get carried away.
