The People today links Fulham with a move for Tottenham full-back Kyle Naughton.

The former England under-21 international has spent the season on loan at newly-promoted Norwich and has impressed Canaries manager Paul Lambert with his performances so far. On the strength of his nine games to date, Lambert is keen to try and conclude a permanent deal with Spurs for the 22 year-old right back. But the People suggests he will face strong competition from the likes of Sunderland and Fulham.

Dave Kidd cites Jol’s failure to settle on a regular right back as evidence for Fulham’s interest. Jol did bring in Zdenek Grygera from Juventus on transfer deadline day and also has Chris Baird, currently deputising for the injured Aaron Hughes at centre back, as an option at full-back. Whether Harry Redknapp will be happy to let Naughton, who signed from Sheffield United in July 2009, leave remains to be seen.
