FC Twente have confirmed the departure of winger Bryan Ruiz in a statement on their official website.
The Costa Rican winger joined Fulham towards the end of transfer deadline day in a deal rumoured to be worth £10.6m.
Twente chairman Joop Munsterman said:
Bryan Ruiz has developed strongly last two seasons at FC Twente and is of great value to the club. He has an important part in theprices we have achieved over two years, with the championship as absolute highlight. Bryan came to the stadium, he has made ??so many beautiful moments. His playing has led to much interest from foreign clubs. Bryan has always had the ambition of a major European league to play and now is the time he makes the transition to the Premier League. Bryan was not for us to maintain. We wish Bryan good luck and happiness in his future football career.
