Sky Sports suggest that West Brom and Wolves are keen on signing Fulham defender Chris Baird.

The Northern Ireland international has not been made a league appearance under Martin Jol having been on the bench against Aston Villa and left out of yesterday’s defeat at Wolves.

Roy Hodgson could be keen to take Baird to the Hawthorns having helped to revive his Fulham career, while Wolves are reportedly interested in the 29 year-old as well. Baird, who was the first choice right back by the end of Mark Hughes’ tenure at Craven Cottage, has made 119 appearances for Fulham since a £3.025m move from Southampton in July 2007, scoring twice.
