David Stockdale has quashed rumours that he’s to make an early return from his loan spell at Ipswich – saying he’s determined to help Town turn things round.
The on-loan Fulham goalkeeper has conceded twelve goals in his last two outings for Paul Jewell’s side, including seven in last night’s hammering by Peterborough. But Stockdale managed to keep it from becoming a cricket score with some fine saves and took to Twitter to insist he’s happy at Ipswich.
Rumours of me going back are rubbish. It’s a team game and I’m part of that team too! I don’t throw the towel in! Time to fight and stand.
