Fulham manager Martin Jol  has said that John Arne Riise could be out of action for ‘some time’ after limping off during the Europa League tie in Dnipro tonight.

Riise fell awkwardly during the first half of Fulham’s 1-0 defeat in Ukraine and had to be replaced by Matthews Briggs after 21 minutes. He appeared to be holding his groin as he went off, but the BBC report references a leg injury.

UPDATE: This Jol quote comes from Sporting Life.

Riise has a serious problem with the leg, that’s why I substituted him with Matthew Briggs.
