Fulham’s promising central defender Cheick Toure has signed for Lorient.
The 18 year-old defender, born in the Ivory Coast, had enjoyed an impressive two years with Fulham since joining as a schoolboy in 2009. He signed a professional contract the following year and captained the under-18 side to the Academy grand final last season but will now look to forge a career in French football. Lorient are reportedly delighted that they have snared Toure, who came through the famous Abidjan youth academy.
