Fulham have made an offer for Roma striker Mario Borriello, according to Sky Italia.

The Italian press say that the 29 year-old does not feature in the plans of new coach Luis Enrique and that Roma are content to sell him, despite being forced to complete a €10m permanent deal under the terms of his loan from Milan earlier this summer. Borriello has been a consistent scorer in Serie A over the past few seasons and there is understood to be widespread foreign interest in his signature.

As well as Fulham, Liverpool, Tottenham and Paris Saint-German are said be monitoring the situation. Borriello would be ineligible to play in Europe until January having come on as a 76th minute substitute in Roma’s Europa League play-off round first leg defeat to Slovan Bratislava last Thursday.
