Fulham are readying another attempt to sign West Bromwich Albion winger Jerome Thomas, according to Sky Sports.

The winger has a number of admirers across England after two excellent years at the Hawthorns. The former Arsenal youngster, who returned from an injury lay-off to score against Bournemouth in the League Cup last week and made his first Premier League appearance against Stoke at the weekend, has interested QPR and West Ham as well as Fulham but Baggies boss Roy Hodgson has insisted the 28 year-old is going nowhere.

“I’m sure there’s plenty of interest in Jerome Thomas but he’s not for sale,” said Hodgson .”There’s no way he’s leaving the club. I’d like to think that with the quality of the players we’ve got here, there would be interest in a lot of them. But Jerome is not for sale and I have no intention of allowing him to go anywhere.”

Fulham are undeterred by those denials and Jol has identified Thomas as his main target to improve the supply line to Fulham’s forwards.
