Freiburg chairman Fritz Keller says the club have received three offers for want-away striker Papiss Demba Cisse and that they will ‘consider them carefully’.

The Freiburg chairman insists that this doesn’t mean they will definitely be selling the in-form Senegalese striker, who has been linked with a move to Sunderland, Blackburn Rovers and Fulham. Cisse has been in terrific form of late for Freiburg, finishing second in the Bundesliga goalscoring charts last season and having already bagged four goals in three games this term.

Keller told Deutsche Presseagentur:

We have received three concrete offers for the services of Papiss Demba Cisse. All three are from clubs in foreign leagues. We are going to consider these offers calmly, but this doesn’t necessarily mean we are definitely going to sell him.

Cisse’s agent has told Bild that he will working towards a satisfactory conclusion for the club and the player. Freiburg are believed to want at least £12m for the Senegal international, who still has three years to run on his Freiburg contract.
