Fulham’s deal for Ghana international Derek Boateng has fallen through, according to Sky Sports News.

The Cottagers had identified the midfielder, who currently plies his trade in Ukraine with Dnipro, as a possible transfer target.

Talks were held over a loan deal with a view to a permanent move, but Fulham have been unable to reach an agreement.

Boateng only joined Dnipro earlier this summer when he arrived from Getafe in Spain, and played against Fulham in their recent Europa League tie.
