Fulham have announced that their reserves will compete in the Premier Reserve League South this season.
The club withdraw their reserves from the competition last season, with academy director Huw Jennings arguing that it was ‘not fit for purpose’. The Whites arranged frequent friendlies and sought to send fringe players out on loan.
The Premier League have subsequently tweaked their reserve structure and Fulham will compete in the South section, which bizarrely includes the likes of Sunderland, Newcastle, Bolton and Liverpool. A full fixture list is available on the offal.
