A really, really interesting interview with Martin Jol on the official website and a revealing one too. In it he talks of the revelation that is Matty Briggs (and the possible left-sided combination he could form with Riise), how Schwarzer is the best keeper he’s worked, the concen over the quality of the squad – specifically mentioning how it was his ‘second XI and not the reserve team’ that lost to lower league Stevenage and AFC Wimbledon – amongst other things. Worth a watch.
