As expected the Riise signing seems to have all but ended Salcido’s Fulham career – but only if the deal’s right for us. Jol is quoted as saying:
“It depends on the conditions. We’ve only got 17 or 18 senior pros left and a lot of youngsters. Our second XI is not good enough yet. If we don’t get the right deal for Salcido he will stay.”
The De Nigris-Salcido swap seems to have ended before it even begun as he’s now come out saying that he wants to stay in Mexico but either way the odds on Salcido staying beyond August seems slim.
