Fulham are favourites to sign Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner, according to a Danish sports website.
Bendtner was rumoured to be on the brink of leaving Arsenal over the weekend after Arsene Wenger left the striker out of his squad for the club’s pre-season tour of Asia. Sky Sports then reported that Bendtner was in negotiations with an unnamed Premier League club.
Sporten are suggesting that Fulham and Aston Villa are interested in signing the 23 year-old. They suggest that Fulham hold the advantage as Bendtner is keen not to uproot his young family from London, but the stumbling block could come over what type of deal Martin Jol is planning. Fulham are unable to meet Arsenal’s valuation of £8m and a proposed loan move would be dependent on Arsenal continuing to pay a potion of the player’s £50,000-a-week wages. The most likely deal would be a loan with a view to a permanent transfer.
Bendtner has scored thirteen goals in 48 appearances in his six years at Arsenal, although he did spend a season on loan at Birmingham. The striker has become frustrated with his lack of first-team football at the Emirates and declared his intention to look for a new club should he not been guaranteed regular football back in February.

I reckon Bendtner would be a great addition for the Cottagers! I think he’s had a great impact on some big games for Arsenal. He’s never been given a decent run in Wenger’s team, who makes it obvious he doesn’t like Bendtner. I think he would work well for Jol and the team.

Why would a team like fulham give one of their top players to arsenal in part exchange for a player who arsenal clearly want to get rid of? Either you two are terrible negotiators or you are wildly arrogant individuals, fulham aren’t a championship club who are at the total mercy of the top teams – they can stand up for themselves as they are a top ten team who are playing in europe, and Arsenal are hardly Man United are they? The Arse simply don’t have the pull factor anymore, Arsenal wont win the league again for decades and their days of winning trophies of any sort are behind them, there are much bigger fish in the pond now and as such players are hardly desperately scrabbling to join them, quite the opposite actually. As for Schwarzer being washed up, he is still lightyears ahead of anything Arsenal have, Almunia has been poor for about a decade and those two youngsters who ArseWeng talks up every time he actually decides to play them have consistently failed to perform, with ‘the better one’, sceznezscenzzyschenzy, even costing you a final against a team that was so bad it got relegated! So in closing, Fulham don’t need to, don’t have to and don’t want to give away either of the mentioned players whereas Arsenal do need to, do have to and do want to sell Bendtner, does that help make it clear why you two both posted idiotic comments?
