Fresh from an impressive performance down at Kingsmeadow on Saturday 17 year old Academy graduate Karim Frei was rewarded with 90 minutes against the Crusaders this evening. As you might expect, he was pretty pleased:
I feel proud that I played 90 minutes today. The Manager gave me the chance again. All the players were very friendly and they helped me every time. I am very pleased; it’s my first full game so I’m quite positive.”
“I always try to go past the player, look for the one-two with Bobby or AJ. I like to take players on. I like the position on the left side, you get lots of the ball in the pocket and you can turn and go forward.
“It would have been the best thing to score, I had two chances but I hope in the future I’ll be able to get one.”
Definately one to look out for. From the glimpses I’ve seen of him, he has the potential to go far.
