Fulham midfielder Dickson Etuhu reckons the arrival of Roma defender John Arne Riise is a sign of things to come at Craven Cottage.

The former Liverpool full-back finally agreed terms on a three-year deal this week – a decade after snubbing a move to Fulham in favour of Anfield.

And Etuhu insists it’s a massive coup for the club.

He said: “John’s the strongest and fittest man ever! He’s a great signing for us and is a top player.

“He has a great left foot and is an attacking threat as well. He’ll be a great addition.

“This will be the first of many and I’m looking forward to working with him.”
