It seems as though John Pantsil is still set to leave Fulham, despite their recent change in management.

The Ghana full-back, who only made nineteen appearances for the club last season, was relegated to second choice under Mark Hughes after a disappointing season, which included scoring three own goals. Whilst Jol has apparently moved to try and persuade Zoltan Gera to stay at Craven Cottage, Pantsil is still set to leave Fulham.

Leicester City are rumoured to be interested in signing the right back, but Pantsil’s wages – of around £25,000 a week – may be a sticking point for the Championship side. The Foxes are also preparing to offer Diomansy Kamara, who spent the second half of last season on loan at the Walkers’ Stadium, a contract but the Senegalese forward might prefer to move to the Middle East. Kamara’s contract will also not be renewed by Fulham and Jol is also ready to release American striker Eddie Johnson and midfielder Matthew Saunders.
