The Daily Mail suggests that Martin Jol is eyeing two Championship players as he looks to strengthen his squad for the forthcoming season.
Fulham are linked with a move for £2m-rated Leeds midfielder Max Gradel. The Whites would reportedly have to do battle with West Ham for the 23-year-old, who scored 18 goals in 44 appearances for Simon Grayson’s side last term. Gradel has one year left on his Leeds contract and the club will be keen to keep him at Elland Road.
The paper also suggests that Jol is keen on signing Liam Ridgewell, who was relegated with Birmingham last season. Ridgewell is also attracting interest from Roy Hodgson’s West Brom.
