Tony Pulis has confirmed that Eidur Gudjohnsen has been released by Stoke.

The former Chelsea striker made just four substitute appearances in the Premier League for the Potters and spent the second half of the campaign on loan at Fulham. Mark Hughes has hinted that he would be interested in signing Gudjohnsen on a permanent basis but, at the moment, the Icelandic international is in a little bit of limbo.
