Over the weekend, the Blades rejected a bid of £500,000 from Fulham for the England under-19 international. Slew’s contract expires at the end of next season but Sheffield United chairman Kevin McCabe, not exactly popular with the club’s fans at the moment having appointed former Wednesday boss Danny Wilson as manager, rebuffed Fulham’s initial advances.
