Fulham midfielder Dickson Etuhu is due to return to training to hand boss Mark Hughes a major fitness boost ahead of Saturday’s trip to Everton.
The Fulham midfielder aggravated the hamstring injury which kept him out for a month earlier this year in the win against Blackburn a fortnight ago.
And the no-nonsense Nigerian reckons maybe two years of non-stop football has had something to do with it.
He said: “I’ve not had a summer for the last two years playing for Nigeria in the qualifiers or the World Cup itself, and we had the Europa League on top of everything else as well last season – not that I’m complaining.”
Etuhu will join in sessions with his team-mates at Motspur Park today before the journey to Merseyside at the weekend.
