Fulham defender Philippe Senderos stepped up his recovery from injury with a run-out for the reserves, as did Bobby Zamora.

A summer signing from Arsenal, Senderos, has been sidelined since tearing his Achilles in his first training session with Fulham way back in August.

But the 26-year-old took a major step towards a return to action by playing 45 minutes of the second-string’s win over Everton at Motspur Park this afternoon.

Bobby Zamora also continued his steady progress with another hour of game time under his belt, and was on the scoresheet in the 4-1 victory.

Eidur Gudjohnsen grabbed a brace, while substitute Danny Hoesen completed the scoring.
