Fulham manager Mark Hughes has told full-back John Pantsil to wait until the end of the season before holding contract talks.
The defender is out of contract in the summer and could leave on a free transfer unless he is secured on longer terms.
Hughes insists the club are working through players’ contracts and Pantsil will need to be patient for talks.
However, Hughes insists the 29-year-old right back needs to play well between now and the end of the campaign in order to win fresh terms.
“There are a number of players this year that are in the last year of their contracts and we’re working our way through him,” Hughes said.
“I’ve spoken to John on a number of occasions. He needs to play well between now and the end of the season and I’m sure we’ll have the conversation then.”
