Fulham manager Mark Hughes plans to ring the changes for Saturday’s FA Cup clash with Peterborough.

Hughes’ side have faced a gruelling festive fixture list with four games in 10 days as they hauled themselves away from the Premier League drop zone. The Fulham boss plans to give some of his fringe players an opportunity, with skipper Danny Murphy one of the experienced players expected to be rested against League One opposition.

Hughes said: “I’m going to make changes. A lot of the same players have had the big onus on them. We’re going to freshen it up at the weekend.”
