Fulham boss Mark Hughes is eyeing a raid on his former club Blackburn Rovers for midfielder David Dunn.

Dunn, once tipped to be an England international regular, has seen his career plagued by chronic injuries but the player has bounced back from his injury nightmares to put in a string of dynamic performances for Blackburn this season.

Hughes is ready to test the resolve of new Blackburn manager Steve Kean by lodging a bid for Dunn, who has 18 months left on his current deal.

Newcastle United are also planning a swoop on the £2 million rated Dunn.
