Fulham full-back Matthew Briggs, who underwent surgery last week after suffering persistent problems with his calves, looks set to return next month.
Fulham boss Mark Hughes commented: “We want to get to the bottom of it and seem to understand what is going on. Obviously, he is a young boy and still growing. That’s been a factor in it. He should, after 10 days, be in a position to ramp up his training and then hopefully we will get him back fit and well very soon.”
