Fulham midfielder Zoltan Gera has warned Damien Duff he faces a fight for his right-wing spot.

The Hungarian has made just four league starts all season, but played 90 minutes as Fulham cruised past Wigan last weekend.

However, Irishman Duff returned to training this week, and is set to be back in contention for Saturday’s clash with Aston Villa.

“I just want to play well when I get the chance,” said Gera.

“I’m happy to play 90 minutes and hopefully I can stay in the team.

“I’m happy where I’m playing in the team. I enjoy myself on the right side but I can play in the middle.

“We have a good squad and there’s competition for every single place.”
