Fulham striker Andrew Johnson continued his comeback from his nine-month injury nightmare on Tuesday afternoon by scoring in Fulham reserves’ win over Millwall in a behind-closed-doors friendly.
Saturday’s Barclays Premier League defeat at West Brom saw the striker come off the bench to make his first senior appearance since January after recovering from a combination of shoulder, knee and hip problems.
The 29-year-old, who also played in a development match against Southampton a week ago, started this 3-1 win, lasting 45 minutes during which he set up Fulham’s opening goal and netted their second.
