Fulham full back John Pantsil has rejected suggestions he could be set to join West Brom.
Reports claimed that Pantsil, a member of Ghana’s World Cup party this summer, would be sold as part of a squad shake-up following the appointment of Mark Hughes as Roy Hodgson’s successor. But the defender insisted that there was no truth to the story.
“I don’t know anything about that report and I am fully concentrating on Fulham with the season just about to start,” he told Ghanasoccernet.com. “Mark Hughes has not even met the playing body yet so it is impossible that such conclusions have been made. Journalists must cross checks facts before coming out with such stories because it is causing a lot of discomfort.”
